Organisational Governance Structure
WENZ was established as an Incorporated Society in 2019, by a passionate group of Working Equitation enthusiasts, who wanted to support the growth and development of a recognised best practice Working Equitation model in NZ. The purpose of WENZ is to lead and govern the Sport in NZ so that we become part of the international community and yet retain our own flavour. WENZ will be led by an elected committee who will be elected/confirmed at each AGM.
WENZ offers a membership structure for individuals/families and also organising groups/clubs. The purpose of a group membership is to cover the general, statutory, and professional liability of your committee members and helpers when running events.
A group membership does not entitle the group members with any other individual membership privileges such as discounted training, trainer or judge accreditation, voting or joining the WENZ committee. To receive these benefits an individual/family membership with the appropriate options must be purchased.
Memberships are annually renewable and the year runs from 1st August to 31st July. Fees for first time members will be calculated from the date of application.
